My Week in Pictures...#2

This week hasn't been quite as eventful as last week, work has been pretty dull lately, so I decided to use some 'down-time' to decorate (I'm not sure that's the best word) my desk. I transferred all my pens and pencils into pretty little tins, and paper clips and staples into vintage saucers, I pinned up some nice pictures and took in my vintage china tea cup and saucer, they don't match, but I think that makes me like them even more, and there's nothing like a cup of tea in a real tea cup.

I decided to colour my hair this week, nothing exciting, just a root touch-up really, but I accidentally dyed three of my fingers brown, so for the first time in ages I decided to paint my nails. I very rarely paint my nails as I don't have the patience or very steady hands, and to be honest I usually end up chipping them before the day is out so I don't see the point. I do love this colour though and have resolved to paint my nails more.

I also picked up my new glasses this week. They are supposed to be tortoiseshell, but they look more black in reality which I was a little bit disappointed with, but overall I'm pretty happy with the style.

What did you guys get up to this week?

You have pretty nails, I bite mine very often so they are not worth painting. I really like your new glasses. =)

Oh, you have inspired me to drink tea out of pretty teacups now! What a gorgeous nail polish colour, after years of being an art student and constantly having paint stained hands there wasn't much point to painting my nails. I'm finally getting back into it and I love to see all the cool colours everyone has!

I adore the teacup and saucer. Mismatched crockery is by far the best kind.

I should probably do something similar with my desk. It's an absolute state.

oh now I just fancy a cup of tea...it's so horribly dark and wet outside I only want to do that..but have my back therapy in a bit so no rest for the wicked.
My weekend was hectic, uncomfortable, quick and stressful, so I've resolved to look at it as a non-weekend. Hopefully the next one will be a proper WE :)

I have a teacup and saucer at work too but its not as pretty as yours I think I'm going to have to pop to my local charity shop and treat myself to a new one! I have an inspiration board at work so will have to get a picture of that on my blog. PS I really like what you've done to your eyebrows on your night out, how did you do them? xx

That nail polish is a lovely colour - I play guitar so mine are literally chipped within five minutes of applying any form of nail polish :D The teacup is adorable, I want one! Hehe :) xxx

Hey lovely.

They do have a website (and a blog!) - http://www.ohcomely.co.uk/index.php . As for stockists, I've only ever seen it in WH Smiths but they stock it in my local small branch so I'm guessing it has pretty wide distribution within their stores?

I dont know if you have this over there, but in the US we have this top coat called Seche Vite that seriously dries in like 2 min and stays like that for several days. I NEVER used to paint my nails until my sister found and showed me this, it's seriously a nail savior

I have that same habit of chipping my nail polish. But I love to see a bright color on my nails.

I'm loving your nailpolish! I can't go without painting my nails, it's like a bit of me-time. I especially love painting my toenails, haha! :D And yes, I LIVE on a good cup of tea with some honey and milk!
