OOTD: Blue Hue

~ Outfit Details ~

Polka Dot Head Scarf - Primark
Blue Jersey Dress - F&F for Tesco
Cardigan - Primark
Vintage Handbag - Blogger Giveaway
Vintage Scarf - Thrifted
Tan Loafers - Primark
Cameo Necklace - Primark
Teapot Pendant and rings- Miss Selfridge

Not the most exciting outfit again, but just a little something I threw on for Sunday lunch with the boy a few weeks ago. The cute little handbag is the one I won from Alex's giveaway over at Odd Socks and Pretty Frocks and I bloomin love it, although the picture doesn't really do it justice for some reason.

I've been thinking (uh oh), although it's been almost a year since I started this blog, I'm still not entirely happy with the structure and schedule of my posts. I'd really like to be more consistent with posting similar features each week rather that just haphazardly throwing together a post when I get time. I have a few ideas in mind, but I've decided to start with something easy, a regular Sunday outfit post with a little update on what I've been up to that week; welcome to The Sunday session, numero uno.  Hopefully this will also save me from running out of things to write about.

So without further adieu...

...This week I have...

Loved...the beautiful weather we've had, dinner with friends and getting back into blogging properly.
Loathed...those really annoying adverts for 'made in Chelsea'. It's not actually even started yet and I'm already sick of it.
Purchased...a straw fedora and some new gladiator sandals from Primark and a few bits and pieces from the usual charity shops including some lovely vintage shoes for my eBay shop.
Eaten...waaaay too much, thanks to an all you can eat Indian buffet and a huge Italian dinner for my friends 30th Birthday.
Visited...the boys parents for lunch today.
Listened to...my noisy student neighbours playing god awful music at full blast.
Been reading...the Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath.
Felt Inspired by...the Miss Selfridge Festival Collection, both the model and the collection are beautiful.
Been wishing for...this amazing weather to continue.
Finally...gotten around to posting my S/S wishlist.

I hope you all had a great week.

Ooh I thought I recognised the bag! I found it really hard to photograph as well - it's so much nicer in real life than pictures make it appear.

Love this outfit btw. You really suit blue :)

My blog posts are quite haphazard too, I know exactly how you feel! That bag is lovely, aren't you a lucky bean :) And I like the way you've twisted the scarf around too, ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
