It's been almost two months since my last post, and to be honest I wasn't really sure what to write. A lot has happened and I didn't want to jump straight back into blogging without explaining my absence and lack of any response to all your kind messages and e-mails. The last couple of months have been really difficult, not only have I had to deal with the heartbreak of loosing my boyfriend, I've also lost my home, suffered a very nasty stomach ulcer and to top it off I'm in the process of being made redundant.
So far I've not really spent much time thinking about the future or even where I'll be living at the end of the month and have been trying to enjoy being single, meeting lots of new people and catching up with old friends, I've had more nights out than I can remember, attended a few random house parties, and suffered many many terrible hangovers.
However, time has flown by and I need to think seriously about what I want. I think all of these things happening at the same time has finally given me the kick up the backside I've needed for a long time. Don't get me wrong I was very happy with my life as it was and was looking forward to the future and settling down with the man I loved, but that's not going to happen now and while these past two months have been incredibly hard, they've also given me a fresh start.
I've always wanted to travel and see the world, but because I've always been in a relationship or had a steady job it never seemed like the right time. Now I have nothing keeping me here and should have enough money from the redundancy to see a bit more of the world and I'm even contemplating University or investing some of the money in some vintage stock for my online shop.
I'm trying to see the positives in this whole awful situation. I have lots of decisions to make during the next few months and I'd love to hear your advice, thoughts or experiences of similar situations.
I know I've been away for a while and I've lost some followers, but I promise I'll be back soon with a fashion related post, and I can't wait to catch up on all my favourite blogs.
